Sika Ahenfo: The Golden Kings

Written in the style of a West African folktale, the opulent palace court life of Akan royalty comes alive. This nontraditional narrative explores the interactions of the seven brother kings, the queen-mother, and the citizens of the kingdom who had to work hard to provide the wealth for their rulers. The people’s pride led to misfortune, and one brother heard the wisdom of the queen mother saving the kingdom.

Genre and Brand

My genre is history and culture. Culture is the outward expression of a group of people regarding their worldview. It is expressed in the way they dance, the songs they sing, the clothes they wear, the food they cook, and the way they communicate. Researching world cultures has taught me that we have more in common than we have differences.

My brand is teaching. I love imparting to others what I have learned.  In the appendix, I include educational materials, documentation, and references. It's the teacher in me. It’s my passion
